The employees of the Rockland County District Attorney, in partnership with the community we serve, are dedicated to the pursuit of truth, justice and protection of the innocent and the prevention of crime through the vigorous and ethical prosecution of those who violate the law.
What We Do
The District Attorney's Office prosecutes on behalf of the people of Rockland County, all individuals, both adult and juvenile, accused of felonies, misdemeanors, and infractions occurring within the County. Additionally, highly trained and experienced members of the District Attorney's Office provide services to victims and witnesses of crime, including crisis counseling, orientation to the criminal justice system and community referrals.

Spirit of Rockland Special Victims Center
Located on the campus of Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, the Special Victims Center provides proper care and support to crime victims with special needs. By partnering prosecutors, law enforcement, advocacy, medical and mental health and social service agencies in one, secure location, victims are assured that all available resources are brought to bear against the offenders responsible for the heinous crimes.
Last year, 73 adult victims and 82 children were referred to the "Spirit of Rockland" Special Victims Center in Suffern.
